Sorry, but I found G Song to be nerve racking!
I don't go for to this kind of music, so don't take what I say to heart.
Others may think it's great. I just didn't care for it. It made me feel like mashing something, like my computer.

By the way, you owe me a new computer! :)

Gee Darel, your music is what one might get if they cross Iron Maiden's guitar section with Buckethead and John Petrucci. This kind of advanced tweedly tweedly and odd-time won't appeal to everyone but I think it's pretty cool myself. Unlike looneytunes my computer is still intact. 7 thumbs up from me (sounds like you needed at least that many in some of your tracks)...

G'day mate...

I loved it... you got some nice shred licks in there, its melodic and i think different. I havent heard much music in this kind of style for a long time...

I really did like this tune.

Shaz :)

I think it has potential.. you really need to re-master it or re-do the mix though.. it's horrible in that regard. The kick drum just sounds "wrong".. later on there's some heavily distorted guitar in the higher frequencies that completely drones out the melodic solo part in the "background".. The solo should be where the singer would normally be mixed in.. or just behind the singer if there is a singer... the melody is nice.. but can't be heard for the wash of distorted guitar there.

As I said.. it has potential.. the composition/writing itself is great.. just the recording/mastering needs a lot of work.

I enjoyed it,the backing sounds as if its played from another source and you recorded solo and the backing as background so I wont go into the mix .From your photos you seem like a fairly young fellow, you have some excellent licks and passages happening and a real harmonizing guitar (you both or a mate?) going on,I really liked it.The little bits of feedback from some of the end notes sound great too You have a good ear for a melody.keep em coming. ;)

Hi Darel, nice mix of styles you have. Colorwheel is a nice track, pretty original and you display good abilities - nice song structure too. Listening to Gsong too, some nice shred bits - recording quality let it down a little but for a demo it shows a lot of potential. I reckon you are on to something with the mix of gnres and rapid cuts. Good stuff.

I didn't really mind the solo parts, but in my opinion, the chorus was really bad. Sorry, it just doesn't seem to fit in with the other parts, but that's just my opinion.
