picking problems

hey guys, i have a problem when im trying to play fast scales my pick sometimes becomes "caught" on one of the last 2 strings, any tips?

Does your picking hand move down at all as you approach the high strings or does it stay in the same position? If it stays in the same position the picking angle changes and that might be why you find it more difficult to shred on the top B and E strings.

You could be holding the pick too loosley or holding the pick too far at the top and too much is on the string.
"During this line, the kid acted like he was pushing buttons on a calculator in the air. The kid played ******* air-calculator!"

Slow down until you find the correct picking method that suits you. Then you can figure out where the problem is and remedy it.
