Ahhhh!

I have a problem with buzzing when I plug into my amp. I use a vox 30 wat, a digitech deathmetal pedal, and an epiphone sg. When I plug in, I get a horrible buzzing sound, but when I touch the metal part of the cable, it stops.

Is something not grounded?

Yep, that's a grounding issue...First thing to check is your cables. After that, the wiring in the guitar itself. I've had the same thing happen numerous times over the years and it was always one of those 2 things....
