I re-did this tune this morning, I wasn't happy with the first version

This ones much better than version one, IMO. :)

Hey man, I was REALLY impressed with the intro sounds and effects you came up with - never heard anything quite like that before. How did you pull it off fx and mix wise? I'd love to experiment with a similar effect in a piece I'm working on at the moment;-) Nice lead passges following on, definite Satch influence to heard here. One thing, not sure if you noticed it or whether its just my ear but one of your lower strings seems to be ever so slightly sharp (you can hear it on one or two sustained lower notes). Other than that there are some very nice fretboard runs and the signature EL hooks, which always work well.
Good job again.

Satriani must be thinking "now, why didn't I think of that?"

Really like the way you change the phrasing of the familar lines, very refreshing.

Great work ! Really enjoyable - as usual. Love the tone, love the feel...simply love it!

Hey guys, thanks, appreciate the comments.

There are two low notes with a finger vibrato where I pull them up and out of tune just a bit and then wiggle the note.
That may be what you are talking about.
If so, that's on purpose.
It's at :39 and :41 and happens again later in the tune.

Satch does that also on the tune and I thought it was pretty cool sounding.

Chances are it may have been me just out of tune though. :o

Super, all the effects you hear are done with Guitar Rig2.
There are so many cool effects in Guitar rig2.
I can pull off synth sounding stuff no problem with just the guitar.
All the camel burping noises and weird stuff I do is with guitar rig and a guitar.

I use all kinds of goofy effects in the background of my stuff to add interest. It's a ton o fun to play with the guitar gig effects.
