hi all again im introducing myself for the second time because ive been VERY VERYVERYVYEYRbr9jhbirwhi unactive. jus sayin hiho. btw im a beginner at guitar. ive been playing for 1 or 2 school terms and im pretty average, i can play a little bit of a metallica song, a lil bit of slipknot, trivium, atreyu, good charlotte and a little more. kk i hope im welcome here :cool: :)

Of course you are! :) I'm welcome, you're welcome and nearly everyone else is welcome too! :)

It's good to see you have been able to stick at guitar for more than a month or two, it means you are likely to continue playing at least some musical instrument for a very long time. That first two or three months is the big decider, so if you keep practising everyday for 3 months and you still enjoy it.. there's no reason why you shouldn't be playing, regardless of your skill level, in 30 years time as well.

I just fiddled around for the first few months and didn't really have a clue what I was doing.. I could play bits and pieces of songs but I didn't understand the music at all.. then I went and learnt some scales and intermediate chords afterwards and that's all I really needed for many years..

Now I am back to learning again, on this website, 16 years later and I realise I still have LOTS AND LOTS to learn.
