What adhesive should i use to fix tolex to wood? will a regular PVA glue do the job or do i need some other type of adhesive? :confused:

Contact Cement. Or spray-on adhesive.

I plan to just staple it on when I get around to building cabinets, though.

PVA will not work; don't waste time or material trying that.

Get the real thing:

3M Hi-Strength 90 Spray Adhesive.


I was pointed to this stuff by people at St. Louis Music Co. when I bought Tolex and grille cloth from them to rebuild my old VT-40. It works very well. Don't get it on anything you don't want to stick to.
