Nickelback's song "side of a bullet" is a tribute to what guitarist?
Great works are performed, not by strength, but by perseverance.

That would be John McVie and Mick Fleetwood, who went on to form the band Fleetwood Mac.

In 1962, Jim Marshall's first amp to hit the scene was the JTM45. Although, it wore the Marshall badge, and was very popular, it was basically a copy of another quite famous amp. What was this amp and it's manufacturer?

You forgot Peter Green (Tho I don't think he played with Stevie Nicks so maybe you didn't forget :D )

The answer to your question is the Fender Bassman. The circuit is nearly identical. Jim did a little differences in the tone stack as I recall.

Who made the very first guitar with a magnetic pickup, thereby ushering in the modern age of the electric guitar?

What is B.B. King's real name? Bonus point: What were the call signs of the radio station he did his radio show from before he started his reign as the mayor of bluestown?

You are incorrect sir.

It was Adolph Rickenbacker :p

I don't know the answers to you question. BTW you missed a great jam session on the 4th. It was old home week. Got to play with my old drummer and good friend Rick Haywood. Guy is amazing.

Tip: Before this he did various mods on Marshall and Fender amps.

How did Dunlop Tortex picks come to be?

They were a synthetic replacement for tortise shell, which had been banned.

In the early years of electric guitar, Les Paul made his own. What did he name this axe?

The Log because it was literally made out of a "log"; a piece of 4x4 fence post.

New Question: Les Paul originally played piano but switched to guitar after being intimidated by what legendary jazz pianist?

Damaged, the question was what did Les Paul name his guitar. It was called "The Log". He cut the sides off an acoustic guitar and attached them to a ugly piece of wood which contained all the pickups and electronics and such.

I have no idea who Les Paul was intimidated by, but I do know his name was Lester Polsfuss.

What book was "Sympathy for the Devil" based on?
