I voted for Ibanez, because I think their guitars offer value for money at the budget end, and serious quality at the top end.

PRS / Suhr / Anderson / Tyler etc. make fantastic instruments but not to the budget of many of us. I've got a PRS singlecut, but I wouldn't trade it for my 1988 Ibanez Radius... One cost me ten times the £££ of the other.

ESP represent!

People think of them as metal guitars (the logo with the silver text drenched in blood probably doesn't help :p), but I find my LTD Eclipse perfect for every style I play.

I voted for Jackson. I find that the Jackson I have plays like buttah and the action is like a millimeter off the frets. It stays in tune, has great Seymour Duncans invaders on it and the tone is incredible with all my Jacksons.

Jackson is basically my fave. :)

I'm not nearly as familiar with their new product as I am with their guitars from the 60s to the 80s. This period is known for guitars that scared the hell out of Gibson. Like >this< one.

Due to your severely limited scope, I had to vote for Washburn. I only have four of them. :p

What about Parkers? Actually, Parker, Airline, and Rickenbacker are my imediate choices for electric guitars. Martin and Stonebridge for acoustics.

Yamaha make solid axes if you ask me - I have one of their old classical acoustics, and it's great. As for electrics, the SA2200 is one of the coolest guitars I have ever laid eyes on (and been lucky enough to have a go with), and the AES single-cuts and the RGX hardtails are quite good as well.

Hmmm... where are all the Fender Strat fans that have been coming out of the woodwork of late?

I think the list is extremely limited too, but, if I'm not mistaken, you can only have 10 options in a pole.

LATS... you gear whore! :p

I played an '70-80's model yamaha the other day, and it was better than any Les Paul I've ever played. It wasn't shaped like a LP, but it similar in other aspects. I didn't like the price tag, but I think it will be well worth it for whoever buys it.

Who, me?

Yeah, this SA2100 marks the first time I've ever paid more than $1000 for a guitar. But it's such a sweet axe!

Was that non-LP an SG or SBG? Like a double cutaway LP? Like my avatar?

Strat guy here....I take out my f'd up (and I mean EFFED UP) Squier out a few times a week just to hear that beautiful blues tone. Something my Ibanez can't even come close to. Can't wait til I can actually buy a Fender.
