hey y'awl

I'm pretty new to recording and I've been using my comp's mic to record and even without having experience with high quality equipment I can tell you that:

IT SUCKS.

So I'd like to get a very very modest setup to plug into my computer so that it doesn't so SO crappy, if you have any suggestions, they are much appreciated.

thanks :)

sound tech light snake should be worthy of checking out. Its a usb-instrument cable. I have one, works pretty well.

What are the specs on your computer, and what is your budget?
