I came across a sweet deal (I think) today. Went to a "Country music" store and hit it off priety good with the owner. I told him I was in the merket for a decent dreadnaught electric acoustic. He pulled out an awesome Alverez. He said the sudgested retail was 1100 bucks. Then said it was last years stock and he needed to get it out. With the price of $625 Im thinking an increadible deal. It comes with a hard/soft case (it was different than normal hard cases) with a hydromiter in the case. I was just wanting some info on if this is as good a deal as I think it is. Here is the link for the online add for it. Please someone give me some input on this. Im planing on buying it tomorow.

On thing you have to remember about "suggested retail price" is that it's basically a selling point...... It's just like how the MSRP of Gibsons are $70,000..... obviously, I'm kidding. But I think you understand what I'm saying...

The best thing you can do to check out the price of the guitar is look it up on www.musiciansfriend.com That will give you a REALISTIC price range that the guitar is being sold for... Or check out some of them on EBay. Just because. The guitar is NEVER going to be sold for the MSRP so ignore that when a salesman throws that out there.

As for the guitar.... Alvarez acoustics are among the best out there! My next acoustic purchase will without a doubt be an Alvarez

Here is the link to the musiciansfriends site. I have compared there prices to many local prices and they always beat my local price... well except this time.

That's a good looking acoustic right there... I would say definitely go for it!! It's better than about any other guitar you're going to find in that price range... and that's one thing that Alvarez does very well... They're kind of The Schecter of acoustics...

That's something not everyone has bro... enjoy it and enjoy your new acoustic.

I didnt like the case to much at first but the more I checked it over seemed cool as hell.. Its like a hard/soft case.

Sorry about going on with this but this is the first "Real Quality" guitar I have ever owned, and im really excited.
