I'm back.
I had just got moved at the end of last month, but I realized that I don't have a view of the proper hemisphere of the sky for them to get a signal for my cable channels.
Fine, since I know the internet account got transferred, I figure with less tv time I'll catch up on some GT lessons. So I go to set up the computer here at the new place and it won't even boot up. Worked fine before the move, but nothin. Eight long days and nights pass...

I fixed the computer today (power supply) and have just decided to not even bother with cable. If ya'll could, please refrain from discussing the shows I'll particularly miss the most at first, which include: Deadliest Catch (new season just premiered), new Discovery Earth series I was just getting into, Ultimate Fighting Championship, & news channels. :rolleyes:
Really though, I think I'll miss the DVR the most...damn commercials suck!

It's great to be back online at least though!

Welcome back bro. Actually I'm a little jealous. I've been trying to work up the courage to yank that da*n cable out of here for the past year or two. Rarely watch it, why pay for it? No problem, I promise. No mention of tv in my posts. :)

I moved rooms earlier this semester. No more tv. Isn't that bad actually. Instead of spacing out a TV I end up... just spacing out.

Friendswood is real nice. I'm still at the same spot, but we are getting ready to buy a house, so we will be moving soon. It's kinda funny 'cause you moved North and we are trying to move South. We're looking at a house in Texas City.

Funny...I actually started watching less tv when i got cable. Always too many damn shows on- you're always missing something.
