Take a listen to yours truely playing the solo to "Another brick in the wall" by Pink Floyd.

great job! I would suggest working on your bends a bit, as some of them were a little flat. Great job overall though ;)

Thanks Eric! I struggle when when bending any further than a full step for some reason. Would you say I was about a half-step flat on most of my bends?

I also blow at bending then adding vibrato to the bent note... It sounds great when I can pull it off, but that's a rare occasion.

Well Leedog, you are not alone with the adding vibrato to a bend. This is a great technique when you can pull it off. I suffer badly. I can only keep focusing on my weaknesses and be paticent. I'm not sure if your bends were off at a consistant half step. Some bends were right on, others(always flat) were not on the money. Overall I did like your rendition. Only other thing was the very last part. Didn't seem right to be. Dunno.

Keep plugging away and I'm sure you'll work out the kinks.

Leedog,
Sounds great bro. If you don't mind me asking. What tab are you using. I'm using one that came with a lesson program I purchased, but it doesn't sound quite like your version, which is pretty damn close with I compared to the The Wall CD. I'd like to see your version as I've been working on this solo for about a week now.
Thanks,
Dan

Thanks for the replies guys. I've been practicing my bends all night and can already tell an improvement. I don't know why I've never just practiced bends before... It really helps to have people take a listen and give some good feedback!

Logan, I'm playing that off of a Guitar Pro 5 tab that I downloaded off of mysongbook.com before it got the kibosh threw on it. I don't know if you have that program, or precisely what the rules are regarding me attaching the file to a post or whatever (seems doubtful, but would be easy). Email me through guitartricks and we'll discuss a further course of action.
