What are you preaching about?
Global warming is gonna kill us all
But your SUV still runs real well..

Peace and harmony among everyone
As a 747 hits the Pentagon

Somehow amidst this battle we flanked
Different interests at hand
Democracy was said to be the key
And united we’d stand
Naïve people who speak of world peace
While genocide occurs in the middle east
Terrorists plot to exterminate you
So your melting pot theory
May need some review

Scream and yell about everything
Its your second amendment right
Hug some trees
Cook conspiracy theories
Protest to your delight
But the irony is that at the end of the day
After your hard persistent fight
You refuse to leave the land of the free
Cuz its amongst the only places you have this luxury

It doesn't scan very smoothly, but I like it.

The last verse should be written large on the board at the front of every classroom!

Yeah, it doesn't flow well at all. Hahahahahah, funny I'm the one who wrote it and think that also. But I've got some ideas in my head how I could make it work with music.

Yeah... it's kind of choppy. But I think it adds to the disruptive nature of the whole thing. Artistically I think it works well and with music all you'll need to do is break some of the long lines up with some pauses and it should turn out just fine! Good work, and amen!
