separates the people are the colour of their skin
predetermined gender roles and pretentious grins

let's sit and watch as the world decides
the who, the what the why
when it all falls through the cracks
of incompetent people coverin' their asses

you burn their bodies through and through
enthrall yourselves and then forget
that foreign friend who did you good

sleep well my child,
let memories shatter what your future holds
you dog, your insatiable hunger for power

the books maintain but the equivocal menace remains
unscathed

its the scum of the century ladies and gentleman
the faeces of our forefathers but who's to blame

let's sit and watch as the world decides
the who, the what the why
when it all falls through the cracks
how many clarences have we to get to

oh well but reality sucks anyway

cheers,
josh

I love the refrain/chorus. This is one of your best songs/poems that I've seen so far.

sleep well my child,
let memories shatter what your future holds
you dog, your insatiable hunger for power

I might change that verse because it seems irrelevant.

I think you should include the title somewhere in the song... if you didn't mean for it to be the first line, that'd be a good place to put it perhaps. Not that it really matters if the title is in a song or not, but because I think it is a good line.

Good work, now lets go roll a cigarette and throw back a few cold ones... all john wayne like.

Good Work!!

Sound a bit hip hop influenced in a few parts... For a moment I imagined Mike Shinoda doing the lyrics with a Linkin Park beat behind it and Chester singing in between.... haha!!

Let's sit and watch as the world decides
the who, the what, the where, the why
as it all falls in through the cracks in the sky
the incompetents cover there asses
and leave us high and dry

Just a suggestion!

all in i think its pretty good :)
