Hi Friends !

I hope everything is well !

Just finished my first ever recording of an attempt of me trying to play Metal Rythm Guitar. I've tried to play the start of Master of Puppets. I know its very sloppy and "Muddy", but I request you to kindly excuse me for the same, considering I have no prebious Metal expreience and this is the first time I'm trying to record... I've not followed the Tab or notation also, I've tried to figure it out by ear and this is as far as I could do now :o

I have NO experience with the effects too... I guess I'll have to work a lot on that :o

If you can kindly have a listen and comment on this, I'll be really very grateful and encouraged...

Thanks for listening - I sincerely hope that I've not irritated you with this Audio of mine...

Regards and Care
Kush

P.S - I guess I have to work on Palm-Muting and Control ?????

Yep, you said i yourself, you just gotta work on palm mutting and clean up your playing. It sounds like you have wah on, you might want to turn that off if you want that Hammet tone as well as any kind of metal tone.

Yep, little muddy. Nothing a little practice can't fix. You're getting close on the tone, but its still not there. I'm with elk and will say the wah sounds like its turned on. Just need some more crunch and tightness to that tone and it will be good to go.

Hi Friends !

Thankyou so much for your kind words !

Just wanted to request you to kindly advice on what should / Can I do to make this tone nore TIGHTER and CRUNCH-ier (as you've adviced). I really have no experience with these things, but I will try my best to learn it well :)

Thanks and Lots of Regards

I'm by no means a tone expert, but mess with the equalization a bit. You don't want the mids scooped (low mids, high bass and treble), but its probably gonna be somewhere close to that. Mess with it until you get a distinct "crunch" instead of a muddy distortion with no bite to it. You also may want to mess with the gain or drive a bit to get the distortion really tight.

Somebody else could give you better advice I'm sure, but thats where I would start.
