My two best friends just broke up. Damn.

I hope this doesn't screw up my relationships with these two. I love them both.

Anyone else been in this situation?

Yeah, it's tough until you figure out which one gets you in the break up. Maybe you'll get lucky and get to keep them both but to be honest, it usually doesn't work that way. That stinks. Only advice I can offer: do not take sides. Just nod and say 'Yeah, that's rough,' when you talk to either one of them. Cuz man, there is nothing worse than trashing one or the other and they get back together. No recovery from that.

When two of my best friends broke up last summer, I didn't even know about it. I seriously had no clue until Michael told me about it a couple months ago.

They're back together now, but it's probably only a matter of time before it happens again. I mean, I wish them the best, but they're always fighting about the most trivial crap.

I'm kinda counting on graduating before any ugliness goes down, so it won't be my problem in any way. :)

they wont be happy with you being with the other. choose someone wisely or bring em back together.

when you're given choice a or b, pick c.

Yeah man, that sucks...

I've never been in the exact situation you're in... but similar, I suppose. Where my best friend was dating my girlffriends best friend back in high school. It was awesome since we both played baseball together and we were pretty much always around each other, it just made sense. We always did everything as a group... well not everything................ But then they broke up, and it was wierd because I had to choose between hanging out with my girlfriend or my best friend... I ended up making the compromise and splitting time. The worst part about it was that after they broke up she started dating some guy from another school that was probably the biggest tool I have ever met... Needless to say I stopped hanging out whenever they all were hanging out. It never affected my friendship with my boy... But I didn't talk much to the girl after she got with Tool McToolson....

Girls don't make good friends mostly though... in my experience. All the girls that have ever claimed they were my "friend" were always in the friend zone to get something out of it... whether for me to hook them up with one of my friends or to get into bars for free... but once they get what they wanted or they find something else to occupy their time they move on... That's why I'll always uphold the ancient man code "Bro's before hoes."

It's funny, cause me and this girl are almost like bros. We've been friends for way to long.

Ill never find myself taking sides though. I'm completely honest about what i say, even if it's not what people want to hear.
