Saturate

tried to emulate a highly saturated tube amp on my effects board
it is titled saturate saturate
and I am trapped in a pentatonic F'n box...it is drivin' me nuts

Nice playing. Like the Zep one too. I think you have the effect but the recording doesn't let us get the full effect I think. Is that the vox pedal? What amp?

vox yes.....I am not using an amp for this...it is direct in with a usb....through my amp, a modded blue voodoo with jj e34l's it sounds kick ass

Sounds like a modeler to me. Not sure how to describe what's missing from it though :o. Were you using a chorus on the lead? That might be what's throwing it off. That and maybe a different cabinet and/or mic model would sweeten it up a bit. Not sure if you do this or not, but I always have two sets of patches... one for recording, and one for going through an amp, because they're going to sound so different. One won't work with the other usually.

I don't think I will ever get it ..... ;)
