That it (with different color humbuckers)? If so its an Epi SG, which is the lower end Gibson version.

Might be thinking of something like the Fender Jaguar or Mustang. I've tried to watch a few LK vids on youtube and I didn't see him play anything besides a Gibson.... ES-335 in one, A Flying V in another, and a Les Paul in another.... What video is it in???

The rhythm guitarist in "Are You Gonna Go My Way" is playing a '72 Fender Custom Telecaster..... which might be what you're thinking of.

OH SNAP... I'm an idiot..... I know exactly what you're talking about

You're talking about a Gibson Firebird... Epiphone makes a version of it as well....

http://www.music123.com/Epiphone-Ltd-Ed-Firebird-Studio-Guitar-Of-The-Month--Solid-Body-Electric-Guitar-i254421.music

I was going to say that, to my knowledge, Gibson didn't make a 6 inline tuner model like a Strat style headstock until I remembered the Firebird... Yeah man, those aren't quite as popular because they're usually a bit more expensive.

That, my Coheed and Cambria loving friend, is based on a Montgomery-Ward (sp) Airline guitar...recently made famous by Jack White of the white stripes.
As far as I know, originals of the guitar are no longer made, but until Jack started playing his, old ones could be found on ebay for a relatively small cost.

Eastwood guitars now builds the Airline, you can see them at www.myrareguitars.com

or try this link...hope I got it right

if that link doesnt work, just go to www.myrareguitars.com

This it?

Seriously, open up Paint, draw out (no major detail, just shape) and post it here. Your Full Acess so if you don't know how, you can just upload it as an attachment.

I was thinking it's either a vintage Yamaha or a Vintage Ibanez....... If it's not a Firebird.

There isn't a guitar that I know of that looks too much like that controller... The controller itself isn't based off an actual guitar like the SG that comes with the game... Red Octane, the company that makes the SG controller, has licensing from Gibson for the game. So, they can make a good replica without any patent or licensing infringements... Where as the maker of the wireless controller doesn't hold any licenses to create there's. Thus, they created a guitar entirely based on inspiration alone... without blatantly copying a guitar....

To me, it looks like a ton of different guitars...

All of which have been mentioned in here... A Fender Jaguar or Mustang, A Yamaha, a Gibson Firebird, Vintage Ibanez JET KING (which is what it most looks like with the large pickguard), an old Wilson Brothers?? (not sure they were even around then)...

The fact that he says "white pickups" suggests that it either has P-90's or has single coils..... Not too often do guitar companies cover humbuckers with plastic covers... unless it's an EMG... which I know it's not if Lenny Kravitz's rhythm guy is playing it.

Either way... something tells me we've already named what guitar it is... whether Shabutie agrees or not.
