There was an article in a magazine about arpeggios
and it had as an example the first part of Eugene's trick bag, (meas. 1-6), it said that it is best to be performed with sweep picking so i learn to play it with sweep picking.
Now i read in other magazine that Eugene's trick bag is better to be performed with alternate picking,
so how do you play it?
sweep picking or alternate?

You have to use a combination of sweep picking and alternate picking.

By the way, which magazine was that in?
