I missed this when you originally posted it Jolly. Trust me my man, I compare myself to Pynchon only in my desire not be photographed. I would never lay claim to be anything more than just an average guy. Some people have huge egos.
I don't.

It may interest you to know that I have just vowed to take your picture someday, at whatever the cost.

I'll give ya a nice old one to have a laugh at.
Circa 1988 or so....

By far & away, Jake E. Lee was my biggest "Hair" role model.
Check out the old Anthrax tee! Probably couldn't fit one arm into that bugger these days. LOL

After 8 years in this town, I finally got to the Stampede. My lab hosted a meeting of all the GMs of the other NTS labs. In addition to a BBQ lunch in the parking lot, we got tickets to see the Grandstand Show at the Stampede on Wednesday.
Some people have special Stampede Outfits that they put on for the occasion. I just get dressed. The Greek sailor's cap I wear all winter is too warm for this time of year, so I got a cheap straw hat a few months ago, just to try it out, and that's what I usually wear now. The shirt with the mother-of-pearl snaps is actually from Nova Scotia. Been wearing that for years.
No, I haven't cut my hair - it's just tied back.

Hi! I'm new here. I started playing guitar for the first time today. My fingers are nice and sore.
I'm from Melbourne, Australia and I love this town. Mostly. Here is me:
