Your ought to persue doing movie scores MN. Your Overnighter track would have worked a treat in 'Heat' during the sequence where Al Pacino is up in the helicopter, on the tail of Robert De Niro. They used Joy Division's 'New Dawn Fades' (Moby re-mixed, and added extra guitars) but that track would have done a whole lot more for that sequence.

Hope you don't mind me saying!

I guess that goes to show you that you can't judge a book by its cover

This was a few months back, now she can play "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Jingle Bells" on the bass and guitar. Her favorite instrument is the drums and she will be getting a set in just a few days ;) She is also behind the pc from time to time as well.

I'll have a bandmate for her, come September!

That's normally the beauty of these places, we are disembodied souls, with a common interest, putting what we imagine to be faces to the posts we read, using imagination only. It's only when we see the actual picture, that we are programmed to go "Eeek! I thought you'd be taller, have a beard, wear glasses, have one leg, etc" We've seen it already a few times in here. Truth is, the qualification needed to be part of this scene, is a guitar, and the only colours we should be interested in, are the ones we put into the air, every time we play. Nuff Said! ;)

If you walk down any London street you will pass multitues of fairly identical white folk. You stop and ask a cross section of them the time, and you will come across Australians, Germans, Swedes, Poles, Russians and just about every European country is represented. Germans aren't going to walk around in Lederhosen, or Swedish girls in Milkmaid costumes, or Dutchmen in wooden shoes, no more than us Brits walk round with our hereditary massive appendages hanging out our trousers! It would be too simple if all Mexicans (not Magic, he's Hispanic) walked around in huge sombrero's and all Latino's wore chambermaids outfits.
There are successful Latino's and Hispanic folk too, just as the guy who empties our dustbins (trash) is as English as Yorkshire Pudding. It's silly to assume all latin folk are gonna have low paid hotel jobs, not to mention a bit offensive. I'd say its harder in (urban) Britain to guess someones race, than just about anywhere else.
I stopped four different people for directions whilst on a recent London trip, each time I was met with a shrug (don't speak English) I then picked on people I 'knew' would be British, only to be foiled three more times. I eventually asked an Asian guy, and he put me right straight away! Go figure, as you chaps would say!
ps. One small section of this isn't quite true. Can you spot it

Do you know, it's a fact that 99% of British folk will never see a real gun in their entire lives? The British police have started to dress a little bit more like Batman in recent years, but still no guns.
Once, when I had my (very brief) mountain bike fad, we saw a beautiful stag, on the edge of Sherwood forest. It had the sun setting behind it, and for those few, fleeting seconds, it was well worth the sore legs to get there.
If you kill something you intend to eat, I suppose its OK, but your talking to a guy who, when we had mice in the house, caught them on sticky traps, took them into the garden and released them, only for them to actually beat me back into the house, through the open back door!
Expect a pic of me holding a shot mouse, then displaying its head on the wall later. :)

This time, it's MY fault (the hair) I think we were probably with Hawkwind when this was taken. Other than that, no excuse! One of the few pictures we didn't have to wait for Phil (Big drummer guy black Tee) to adjust his 'love lump'. He'd spend ages getting it to look right (read bigger) in pictures. I have many (embarassing) examples.
