Hi, this is my first post. I'm a fan of Blur's Graham Coxon and wanted to know how to replicate the effect he uses in Blur's 'On Your Own'. Its a stuttering guitar sound that plays throughout the track, if you know the track you'll know what I mean. I know he sometimes uses a Boss DD-3, PN-2 (both of which I have) and the Boss Vibrato pedal. I have a feeling its made using his delay with the feedback set very high, but I can't seem to quite get it. It sounds like he overdubs on the record but I know he can do it live. Another way I thought it may be done is by having the pedal constantly on and then using a switcher to activate it so he gets that clean cut off.
Anyone know this one? Thanks in advance.
