I have had this solo stuck in my head for the last couple years. I think it may be from the hair metal days of the late 80's, but I have no idea. For the life of me, I cannot think of the band OR the song. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could identify it. It's not the whole solo (only about 15 seconds, because that's all I can remember). It's the clip called 'Mystery Solo'...

Thanks! :)

Sounds vaguely like Sweet City Woman by The Stampeders.

Surfing with the Alien? Joe Satriani?

Dunno does sound familiar. You sure you're playing it 100%

I would guess I'm playing it about 98% if I had to put a number on it... :)

The part I played is only about half the solo - I can do the rest in my head, but you obviously can't hear that (or can you? :D ). I am almost certain it is one of those hair bands (Warrant, Firehouse, etc.), but I can't figure it out for the life of me. I have looked through a bunch of songs by some of those bands, but nothing sounds familiar. I would hate to have to go back and listen to all those albums again... :D
