Thank you too Zach...

Honestly I'm not happy with my tone, when I record, it just doesnt sound the same when i plug into the PC.

It loses something special in the sound... which I've been trying to fix a while now. Rite now just cant seem to get it right, but getting there.... slowly but surely.....

I'm using my notebook (Laptop) going into the MIC input.

I know going straight into mic with guitar is incorrect, but the freakin notebook doesnt have a LINE IN. Only MIC input.

Im using DiMarzio mini-humbucker fast trak 2 pickups with a Line 6 POD.

Using Sonar 4 to record.....

I think the bad sounding tone is from using the MIC input.

Hopefully next month I'll purchase a USB interface, which i plug my guitar straight into....

I think that should solve the problem....

Man, if that was drunk, I'd love to hear what you can do when you are sober!!! :) There were some really nice, bluesy licks and phrases in there which I thought worked really well. Good take!

Thanks! The tone is just my Gibson Les Paul into my Snarling Dog Blues Bawls Wah into my Laptop . On my first take I didn't use the Wah until the end. On this take, I forgot that the Wah was still on and about half way through the first verse I figured it out and clicked it off :D I stilled clicked it back on and used it at the end. When I went back and listened to it I actually liked the way it sounded when I forgot to turn it off! It's nice when mistakes turn out well!!!

I agree with you too, all the entries on here are awesome. Since this is my first month on here, I am pumped about doing this again next month, can't wait!!

Also, big kudos to the guy who recorded the backing track, is it PRSPlaya? It is phenominal, and I only wish I could get rhythm guitars to sound that awesome when recorded. I really struggle with that!
