The pickups can be found for between 150 and 175 USD almost anywhere...
Putting active pickups in a guitar that originally had passive pickups is a little bit more difficult than a direct replacement... You have to wire in the new pots as well... So essentially you have to rewire the entire guitar.... I suggest you take it to a tech.

If you can solder no problem, and have a schematic, then you should have no problem doing it yourself. But if you can't, I'd take it to a tech. If you do, do it as soon as you get your guitar and have em set it up as well.
