Hey, i'm Ben, im 16 been playing electric guitar for 1 year and bass guitar for 1 month. lol
I spose I'm lucky to know the things I know, and the people i know.
I've been told it sounds like I've been playing 4 years, I give that credit to my friend Will (18 years old, been playing 6 years, classical style and Buckethead style. lol) and Josh (16 years old *Older then me though* been playing 3 years, plays Screamo metal, and acoustic emo.)
I give my soloing credit to the Pentonic scale and some blues scales and Zakk Wylde.
My style is a classic rock/ (Beethoven type) heavy metal screamo style.
Some of my inspirations are- As I Lay Dying, Bullet For My Valentine, Zakk Wylde solo carreer, nd Blink 182.
My guitar hero's are- Joshua Walling (Not famous), William Gilliam (Not famous, but is in The Richiard Cranium Sideshow), and Rich Robinson. (Rich= from The Black Crowes)

Welcome to the forum bro... A lot of good stuff here... Stoked that we got another guy that digs Zakk Wyldes solo stuff. He's pretty apparent in my style as well... I play a lot of pent blues stuff too. Don't be shy around the boards if you need anything ask.

Thanks dude. I just bought a magazine called Guitar Edge, I got the first issue, they just started to make it, but my point is, that Zakk Wylde is on the cover and is giving away some of his secrets/ some of the penatonic stuff I didn't know. lol
And the weird thing is I just started to learn Hard To Handle- Black Crowes version for my mom, and he put the solo's in there, I was like. Weird. Works for me though.

I don't think this site can be over- praised. ^_^
