Play What You Hear

You know the stuff I mean. "Learn Guitar in 5 Days" or "Teach Yourself Guitar through Hypnosis." We see these in magazines and the same adage rings true, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." The above one REALLY sparked my interest because it came in a link from Amazing Guitar and Guitar 5 day people and they are pretty sincere. I bought the Guitar 5 Day and honestly, my practicing was better, because it helped me organize my ideas and thoughts. The above one sounds a mixture of "too good to be true" and "legitmate, but expensive."

Has anyone heard of the program to expand your musicial vocabularly or is it just a sudden idea he created? I wanted something like this but, alas, $97 is a bit too much for me to send for 3 cds.

So any similar experiences where you bought into these?
