dude, I wanted to get my license on my 16th birthday, my parent's wouldn't let me, so it took me a couple montsh to convince them to let me. they signed me up for an online driver's education thing, which was to take like 20-something hours... I did it in 3 days, I did at least 6 hours a day. I really wanted my license. now I have it, and can't imagine not having it now, the freedom of not having to have my mom taxi me everywhere. driving is now like one of my favorite things to do.

I didn't get my driver's licence until I was 18 because I never needed to drive anywhere. I consider anything within a 3 hour round trip walking distance.

I got mine when I was 16. Driving is really fun at first, but then it gets to be boring. I guess its one of those things I take for granted.

What do ya do for identification?
I'd be lost without a drivers license cause it's the first piece of I.D. everybody asks for.
