dude, I wanted to get my license on my 16th birthday, my parent's wouldn't let me, so it took me a couple montsh to convince them to let me. they signed me up for an online driver's education thing, which was to take like 20-something hours... I did it in 3 days, I did at least 6 hours a day. I really wanted my license. now I have it, and can't imagine not having it now, the freedom of not having to have my mom taxi me everywhere. driving is now like one of my favorite things to do.
