Basically, a songwriting contest.

Well, just my own opinion, but I wouldn't waste my money.
Publishers like that usually have only one thing in mine.
Charge as many people as they can to send them their songs. At the same time, partner up with another company looking for memeberships and take a finders fee for every person they refer. Then, they give away a very 'cheap' prize along with some other useless stuff like consultation fees where they can use that opportunity to convince you to sign away your rights to your material.

any ways , advertizing is stupid (though it does pay for this site partially) its really just wasted space in your brain. try driving to work , or being in a car at all for that matter and ignore bill boards. its pretty hard
