You are a wizard of graphic design. Except you forgot to cross out the E.

Happy LatSE day, all!

I'm no match for your graphics skills, but I figured I'd go on and post what I had set up anyway. ;)

Thanks, man. I've had the kind of day at work that makes a career change look like a damn good idea.

Your post was real nice to come home to. :D

I'll give you a huge rep (if it'll let me) if you can guess what amp that schematic in the background is for ;)

It looks like the tone stack of a mid-70's VT-22/V-4, superimposed on a black Yamaha SBG.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Lordathestrings again.

You are absolutely correct! I'm not sure what the tubes are that are faintly going, but they seem to be either 2 EL34's or 84's and a 12ax7. I doubt that's right, but that's the best I could tell from the original image.

I guess now I should make a new and improved Schmange day graphic, since the old one is a little sub par comparatively speaking.

Why do you need a scanner? I don't have one. But then, if I could still draw by hand, a scanner would be quite useful. Also, I'm not a graphics designer or anything close! I'm self tought, and only do it for my own creative enjoyment. I really couldn't care less if you could do better than me or not. I was only joking with you anyway man, don't take it personal.. geeze . I was seriously laughing my ass off when I saw what you did with it! I figured it was done in paint, or something similar, and that's what made it so much better lol. Nobodies out to get you chief, so relax a little ok?

Ah, actually having the beast in my posession makes it possible to report that those tubes are probably a 6CG7 ( tube #V3, reverb driver), a 6AN8A (tube #V201, phase inverter, driving the power tubes), and a 12DW7 (tube #V4 or V5, tone stack).

going = glowing  and it was just a random picture of some tubes that were glowing. I doubt they had anything to do with that amp.
