so, me and a few friends are going to record an all guitar remake of the four seasons by vivaldi. yeah, this will probly be tough, being that the song in its entirety is about 40 min long. but, i think it will be one of the collest things ever if we do it. so, now i need to get some sheet music for the entire song, does anyone know where i can get it? i've looked everywhere, but i'd just like a free midi file version of it. all help will be greatly appreciated!!! thanks

8 notes has a lot of free sheet music. I don't know if it has that in particular. But seriously... vilvaldi for president... ew. He was soooo boring... even though amazing I know. It was just too mellow for my taste.

Didn't Azrael (a senior member here) do the four seasons once?

Yeah, he got that amazing dragon guitar custom made so that he could record his version of the Four Seasons. As I recall, he found out that someone else released a CD of the Four Seasons played on guitar before he had a chance to record his, and he was seriously pissed about it.

Uli John Roth did an album called, I think it was called Metamorphasis(did I spell that correctly?almost certainly not) like that...it was 4 seasons, and Roths own,5th season...

Well, most classical adaptations have already been done by Uli Jon Roth... Still, I'd go for it if you can. It's pretty darn fast in some parts, though...

I am still alive!

yes - its true :)

well - i started to record them with 1 guitar (1st voice) and the rest all classical instruments AND i started recording them with guitars only.
Its true that i wasnt tooo happy about finding out that Ulli did them before - but thats life! I have to say that ulli did an amazing job with his recordings- probably much better than i would have.

I havent been around much lately - this is due to the fact that my life is subect to HEAVY changes ATM and i guess it will take a few more months till things settle down (got an amazing girlfriend, we move house (i´m moving from austria to germany for her, etc))

I would love to post more lessons, revise my old ones and so on - but atm i just dont have the time.

i will come back! ;)

Cheers
Azrael

Here I was thinking nothing exciting would happen. I've seen you around a few(and far between) times in the current users thing. Can't hardly wait 'til your back. You probably don't remember me all that well but you were well known when I joined. Many moons ago.

Okay, there is this croatian band called Divlje Jagode... Wild strawberies would be the exact translantation.Nyhowz, if any of you guys can download it (dunno if croatian bands are frequent on the net... probably not) they have this really cool version of turkish march. Turski mars(š). If you have the chance, check it out. it is nicely done.
