So today I brought my acoustic to music class so me n' acapella could play "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" by CCR. After class was done, we walked around serenading everyone we saw. I played guitar, while he sang. First we went up to Dave, acapella's brother. He was wearing a muscle shirt, which ill-fitted his physique and skin tone. We sang him a love song, then went back later and sang him a song asking him if he was standing with his arms crossed in order to cover his nipples. After that, he decided to put a shirt on. We sang him a song in thanks.
Then we tried to serenade all the girls we chanced upon. They all ran away. but one of them payed us a dime in thanks. So I guess this was our first ever paying gig. Five cents each. Rockin.
Now we gotta go and find more people to serenade, because it is unbelievable fun.
First paying gig ever

No joke man, one time i just crashed myself out on the front porch of my house with my electric guitar and a 12 back of good ol canadian beer. i ended up maken like o i dono 25 bucks off my neighbors. they all came up and through me a dollar or two. so ya just try a public place were people are around and like this type of stuff. my neighbors all think its fun to see a band on their street so we made some money, we just wanted to play somewhere and my mom kicked me outta the house for being loud so ya
hehe so good for you though

Haha, nice work, man. I wonder how it would work out if you tried to serenade the people at the turkey farm? :D

5 CENTS?! NICE!!! now don't go spending it all on some fancy record player

Rock stars ... is there anything they don't know?

Haha. Sweetness. Reminds me of last August when all the students were moving into the dorms at Purdue University... me and about three or four other of my buddies that play guitar... one plays the violin and he's crazy good.... went up to Chauncey Hill (It's the highest elevated spot on campus and it's where all the bars are and there's a ton of restaurants and stuff up there with a big brick wall along the road... We all sat up there and played from about 5pm to about 3 in the morning. We just did it to be random. Much the way you guys did in the halls... We ended up making close to 60 bucks a piece. And not to mention the large amounts of phone numbers that we got.... And one of our buddies got a citation from Purdue Security for being a traffic nuisance when he was playing and singing while standing on the wall in the medium of the road..... I think he was singing some Kelly Clarkson song... it was hilarious...... but way to go! Look foraward to a lot more of those random gigs!! They're the best kind!

Yeah, you ain't kiddin. After that first post, we went and serenaded the secretary and nearly all the teachers in the school. We even just walked in to the grade 3 class and started playing to the teacher. It was great. We went in the staff room and played to the gym teacher, that was funny too.
God, that was an awesome day.
