Latin Guitarists?

I have been listening to a new guitarist recently, ‘Michael Sanders & his band One Tribe Nation’. As a big Santana fan, I heard about this a while ago as Andy Vargas (Santana’s singer) is on the CD. I got it a couple of weeks ago and its great, its definitely got latin/funk style to it, but there is some amazing musicianship on it, great guitarist. Anyone else heard it, any thoughts? Can anyone recommend something similar that might be good? If anyone wants to check out the CD it is called 'Servants of a lesser God'.

I'd Definetly check out the Dude from "Los Lonely Boys"! I've seen his live stuff, and man..It rocks! I really wanted to see them when they were on tour with Santana, but they didn't come close enough to me...dang...

Cool, thanks I'll check that out. I recommend the One Tribe Nation CD, for not only guitar playing, but amazing latin rythms and bass lines, good stuff.

Not sure if you're looking for latin style bands or just latin bands in general... You might want to check out Mars Volta if you haven't... I like them a lot. They're more of a prog badn than anything. I don't speak spanish or anyhting But I like most all their songs, even the ones in Spanish.
