I was sitting at home one night and there's a knock at my door. It's a guy I know but don't really ever hang out with so I guess he's more of an aquiantance. He said" do you want me to bring it over so you can see it?" I was like "Sure why not?" So he brings it over and opens the case. First thing I notice is the 25/50 inlay on the headstock and I was like :eek: So I said "How much?" He said "$100" my heart skipped a beat. I didn't have it but I had $80. So I say "Go ask if he'll take $80" So he goes to discuss this with his partner. He comes back and says "He said that'll work" JOY!!!!!!!! That's how I got Betsy. The amazing thing is the deal came to me when I was just sitting around. I feel bad that they probably used that money to buy meth or crack or whatever but hey it was the deal of a lifetime right?

80$ is fantastic, and I would have snapped it up in a second, but I would always have been worried that it'd been stolen from someone else...
The lgood thing is, with such a highend and rare guitar, had it been stolen, the previous owner would almost certainly have put the serial number out to stores, techs and everyone else who may come across such a beast...so you would surely have heard about it by now...so fair play...

and kids...thats a good reason to say "no" to drugs...can you imagine selling your guitars to get just one fix?madness

I forgot to mention that I knew the partner who's guitar it actually was. He used to play in a band a long time ago my brother told me. I have no doubt Whatsoever that it was his. He came by and also sold me a Hartke Systems power amp and a Peavy 1x18 cab and also an ADA MP-1 preamp. He looked longingly at the guitar case and said he wouldn't have sold it but he hadn't played in a few years and she wasn't doing anyone any good in his basement.
Whatever he bought with my money didn't kill him cause he's still around so I guess I shouldn't feel guilty.

and yes kids don't do drugs or soon you'll be knocking at someone's door selling all your gear.

well thats arelief then...and an amazing deal...if I had had that baby and I hadnt played in a long while, and decdied to sell it, as much as I like you Ninji, that thing woulda gone for no less than 5000$.

did I tell you I hate you?, cos I do...you deserve it too, you deserve every bit of bad karma you get...after picking up such an amazing deal, dont be surprised if the world dishes you nothing but bad luck until the end of time (although seeing Fox and all, I can see that the universe still likes the Magicninja...and continues to dish him out amazing luck, and good fortune....what a magical ninja he must be?)

I think the universe is making up for all the crap I went through in the past. ;) Life still owes me some but we're about square. :D
