I was sitting at home one night and there's a knock at my door. It's a guy I know but don't really ever hang out with so I guess he's more of an aquiantance. He had some DVD's he wanted to know if I would buy. I guess he had asked my nieghbor first but he wasn't interested and recomended he try me. Now I know why he was selling them. It was to buy drugs. Which is really too bad so I said no. He asked what I would buy. So, of course I said guitar related stuff, maybe gamecube games, that kinda thing. So he says "My friend outside has a Gibson guitar he wants to sell." I was like :D and then :( because I figured he wanted a good penny for it. He said" do you want me to bring it over so you can see it?" I was like "Sure why not?" So he brings it over and opens the case. First thing I notice is the 25/50 inlay on the headstock and I was like :eek: So I said "How much?" He said "$100" my heart skipped a beat. I didn't have it but I had $80. So I say "Go ask if he'll take $80" So he goes to discuss this with his partner. He comes back and says "He said that'll work" JOY!!!!!!!! That's how I got Betsy. The amazing thing is the deal came to me when I was just sitting around. I feel bad that they probably used that money to buy meth or crack or whatever but hey it was the deal of a lifetime right?
