super glue on my guitar!! what should I do??
I accidently got a bit of super glue on the finish of my guitar...it's not very much, and it really isn't that noticable, but I was wondering if anyone would know how I could get it off without screwing up the finish. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Damn,Tough break. The only thing I know to release super glue is paint thinner and that ain't gonna help your finish. Is it a large blob or just something small?

I think you are out of luck however, you might try a small amount of dish washing detergent on a soft cloth.
rub vigorously (but not too hard) with a soft cloth

My instructors page and www.studiotrax.net for all things recording.

If you can't get it off, you could always just put a sticker or something over it. Or else add more super-glue and make some sort of picture with it.

Please don't put a sticker on your guitar; it's an instrument, not a bumper.

I would never put a sticker on my guitar
plus...I found a chemical that is made to break apart the super glue to make it easier to scrub off, without messing up the finish of the guitar.

Hooray! What was it called so we can refer it to someone who may have the same problem.
