Hahahaha!!I'm back! Well, on this issue.

First, I didn't know that you were Mexican-American Magicninja! Cuz so am I. Well, if none of you people notice, mexicans are helping the U.S. ALOT. Alot of the jobs we're too lazy to do end up being done by them, so thank them. Probably like 95% of resteraunts in the U.S. have Mexican cooks. I think that we should have some laws, but still, they're humans too. And for the people saying how Mexico is the problem and sucks, let me tell you. My whole family is practicly form Mexico, parents, granparents, cousins, uncles, aunts, and its just the government. The people are all very nice, but the government is corrupt.

I see your point...

I've been away for about a week after moving so I couldn't check in here lately, but there's a few more points I'd like to bring up. Alot of people automatically assume this is a racial issue against Mexicans, but it's not (at least it shouldn't be). Mexican-Americans make up the largest percentage (ethnicity-wise) of our military, and as a culture are very family oriented and hard working, thus I have nothing but respect for most of them. While they are crossing the border in large #'s, it's also people from many other countries who just use Mexico as a crossing point (estimates range from 2,000-5,000 a day). If the Canadian border was just as accessible, the focus would be there. The U.S. gives out almost 1.5 million work visas every year to those who choose to try and do it legally, and to just let anyone come as they please is a serious disrespect to those legal immigrants. While I'm sure the process for visas and eventually citizenship could definitely use some more efficiency, that's no excuse. I'm more fed up with the government's in-action than with the illegals...I can't really blame them.
Yet look at it the other way for instance: it is against Mexican law for an American to cross the border illegally and get a job, and if caught will be put in jail.

I encourage those willing to voice your concerns or opinions to your representative in the House, as they are generally the most receptive and responsive as they have shorter terms.
