Trying to remember, need a few hints.

To the best of my memory while holding each string on the 2nd, and 19th
fret simultainesly the string should clear the middle frets by a crazy ,small, mynute, fractional unit of meserment I cant seem to remember, so I guess at it. If I see a little daylight I call it good.
I would really like to know the proper method, and mesurments. Memory loss is one of my conditions, and I fear my mind is making up its own custom procedure in order to compensate for massive brain cell loss syndrom.
Hoo ever knows the real deal start to finish should consider contributing to a brain cell loss surviver/aspiring gutiarist, and save me from having to look it up. Im to tired.

Referencing the book mentioned above, it says to fret the 1st and 17th frets. You might also just stick a capo on the 1st so you don't have to keep holding it down. And relief measurements vary by guitar models, but range from .004" to .012". In addition you'll need to readjust bridge saddles for action and intonation.
