seymour duncan dimebucker vs. emg hz h4
i posted this on one of my old threads but no one answered to it. hopefully someone will read this. i have an esp(ltd) with emg hz h4's and i wanted a new bridge pickup. i love pantera and was thinking of a dimebucker for the bridge pickup but i dont know if it would be a good choice to replace the bridge pickup thats already in my guitar. anyone know if a dimebucker would be a good choice to replace an EMG HZ H4 for the bridge possition? if its not, what would? thanks for your input.

I dislike the HZ series and personally think anything would be an upgrade. Dimebuckers are very nice.
I am a constant evolving music machine. Oh Man, I just forgot what I was playing. Oh well, on to the next song.

Check out a Bill Lawrence L-500. It's the pickup that the Dimebucker is modeled after. I also believe that it is the actual pickup that Dime used, not the one SD copied and slapped his name on. It's also much cheaper than the Dimebucker.

yeah, have a look at any SD or even the EMGs. Just not the HZ series because they are the low end EMGs that everybody has because it has the name.
