All probability and research aside, it basically comes down to this:

A higher being created humans.

.............OR.....

Humans evolved naturally.

The way I see it, there are two options, hence a 50% chance for either one. Each theory has its strong and weak points. It can't be resolved. Or at least it can't be yet. Even if someday someone proves there is a God, I'm pretty sure there will be people who don't believe in it. And vice versa. The end.
