Call me a rank beginner, but when I bend notes during even a medium speed run (triplets, eights, etc.) I hit the next couple strings with my fingertips causing unwanted noises. Any exercises or tips on correcting this bad habit?
Thanks for your 'elp -eclecto69

Play till your fingers bleed... then keep playing.

You have to mute the strings with either hand try getting good with both.

Ninja's right, you gotta mute the other strings. Keep practicing and you'll get it down. It's possible to bend the string and mute the others at the same time if you get the angle of your finger just right.
I am a constant evolving music machine. Oh Man, I just forgot what I was playing. Oh well, on to the next song.

Try adjusting the height of your bridge too.
If it's too high, your fingers will slide under the other strings.
If it's too low, you'll push the other strings downwards onto the fretboard.
Ideally, you want to have it so that when you bend, you're pushing the other strings out of the way. (you still have to mute the other strings tho)

If you adjust your bridge height, don't forget to reset the intonation.

i'd just catch them and make a cool sound out of it. jimi hendrix used to bend up, catch the next string and then bend that one too. cant argue with hendrix :D
