u have a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter? thats all you need. and the cable that connects your speakers (should have two 1/8" ends) plug the adapter to the guitar and run the cable into the LINE IN :D if you havet got recording software go to www.download.com and download Focus MP3 Recorder and Editor. Its really easy to use. So whos in then. I am because i have my adapter now.

well, if your going to do that, you'll need a good soundcard. if you just have the one that came with the PC, its probably not good enough.

Yesterday I did my first ever homerecording :)

I did the Stairway to heaven solo.

So now I'm ready to record.

When if What are we going to record for this Best GT guitarist contest thingy

we all decisided on a backing track earlier in the thread. (if u all still want that one) download it and put a solo to it. So start recording now. Im gonna get to work on mine now.

yeah, I don't think I have a very good soundcard.. cause mine sounds like **** the second I try to put some distortion on it.. but it sounds ok for solos and clean work, I just can't play powerchords, it sounds terrible.. but I think I can do a solo, I'll work on that... sometime
