Mmm... this sounds like it'd be fun. I'll try and participate if I can, but I've got priorities that I need to take care of asap. If it's not too late in the game I'll give it a whirl.

Its hard to judge this one, Ive only heard some few clips here coz I dont have a high bandwith computer to download all clips. I only heard Schmage, Jolly and Akira with PRS and its all great.

But the best would still be..........hmmm Nevermind. :D

well, here's me playing.. >click me!<

of course, that was recorded about a while back (september 2005), I've improved alot since then.. and that was a pretty bad recording, that I never did go back and smooth out.. but it is me playing, so you can say that you have heard me play. ;)

I might just have to do it so I can be the worst and everyone can feel good about themselves becaue they can say at least they were better than me. But it sounds like fun.

I really wanna record something right now actually, I'm in the mood... but it's late, I can't play my guitar this late at night (except with headphones, but I've only got some really crappy cheap headphones that absolutely kill the sound quality, so what you think you are recording will end up sounding waaaayy different when you go back to listen to it the next day without headphones)

alright i'll join for the heck of it. but i got no good recording stuff. just a microphone and a freeware multitrack recorder.

i personally hate megaupload and their 45 second wait. ill go host the sound files on soundclick is that okay?

by the way, the backing tracks arent working.

Sorry, I forgot about this thread :D
I think that we should play somebody elses song and the closest to the original wins. So then make some suggestions to which song we should cover?
btw i cant particpate because i havent got a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter and it will take a while to get delivered because i dont have a music store. But, everyone is the judge. We can do a vote. Suggestions?
My suggestions: either
Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne (Rhoads)
-or-
Metallica - Enter Sandman

We have to all agree on one

I'll enter! I mainly do jazz or classical though, my distortion stuff is somewhat lacking at the moment. So anything clean is good for me.
I can make a backing track which would be suitable for playing clean or distorted over if you guys are interested.
Perhaps something similar to what I've got posted in the listening post section now?
