Ok I'm gonna have to be honest here. I like the oldies kinda feel to the songs. That's the only good point I can find I'm afraid. Now to me the repetative banging on one note is hard to take. Another thing that I didn't like is all three songs sound the same. It's good if people can attribute your sound to you, but the songs cannot be too similar. The guitar tone probably would have been OK used in a different context. For these songs it just didn't fit that well. It sounds to me like your rythm is a bit lacking. This is probably because I didn't hear any drums so it could just be me. The melody on "walk in the park" was ok but it strayed a bit from time to time. So in conclusion I would say work on your timing and phrasing. Try to polish up your scales and learn to move around the fret board and not stay in one spot. Try to not write all your songs in one key! Variety is good. I like the fact that your willing to write your own stuff that's great man. I think you're just trying too hard. You got a good base to start with so keep up with your practicing and lets see some more stuff on here! :)

I like the tone. Sounds kinda old school. Sounds like your timing is off in places. I would like to hear some drums or some type of rythm. That's what holds it all together. ;)
I am a constant evolving music machine. Oh Man, I just forgot what I was playing. Oh well, on to the next song.

Yuh, the timing is v poor. I'm working on it, but because Roll On and Walk in the Park were both improvised i have to tab learn them first :) . Then I'll be able to start work on timings, but once that is done they will be better. So in about a year they will be updated.

also, dont only record one rythem guitar. once you've got your rythem track down, record a few more of the same thing on top of that. it'll give it a much fuller sound.
if you cant re-record that without messing up the timing, i would just copy and paste the same thing in several different tracks.

Thanks, and if you can't find the song, click on the music thing. I've been looking at my scales and I suppose its back to basics while I learn them. Thanks for the feedback.

Are you suggesting I use the scales where you can go right up the fretbord with one scale, or are you suggesting using more than one scale e.g. the relative major and minor.

Yeah relatives work OK. With the way the songs have that oldies feel try some pentatonics stuff too.
