What chord am I playing. The notes are: Bb C G

It looks like this:

Its a Bb Major 7th with no fifth.

It's all about context.

Who knows/cares it could be all of the above or it could be a Cmin7 chord without the 3rd (C5/Bb), or Bbsus2(add 6), or C7, or Xsus12 (from Venus).

The name of this chord totally depends on how you use it and what the other members of the band are playing.

I'd rather say this, I think it's easier to say it like that because polychords usually make things look more complicated than they are.
