i've always wanted to nkow how to fling my guitar around and then catch it and play again... it looks so cool! but ... how do i practice? and what if the strap comes off? ... and what if the guitar rams into my head? ... or my leg? and what about the cable connecting the guitar to the amp/effects? what about... (rambles on for a while)? so yeah... could you guys gimme some tips on some guitar tricks? if the harlem globetrotters played guitar... i wanna learn what they would do. be creative, but realistic.. thanks!

Well, to answer the question about the strap coming off, every guitar player should have strap locks to prevent that. Especially if your gonna be flinging your guitar around...

A horror story...
I had been screwing in and out my strap lock and the holes had become squite stripped.
One day in guitar class my buddy tried to do a flip with it, the lock popped loose and the guitar went soaring across the room. It gave my guitar a chip this big:

I wouldn't suggest it becuase putting on straplocks gives the strap more leverage on your guitar, which in turns me that it puts more force on the screws...which in turn means it's alot easier to strip the bolt and randomly drop your guitar.
It happened while I was playing my brother's a couple years ago so I never got straplocks on my guitar.
