I am trying to gather some information on changing my mexican strat. I really like the sounds of p-90s. I have been trying to find any products to assist me with this transformation. Would like to here from any one who has done this. Thanks

There is someone on this site for sure that has done this. I don't think it'd be too difficult. Probably just some cutting of the pickgaurd and wiring should be the same as a stock pickup.

that or get another pickguard thats already cut, though its cheaper to cut it yourself.

use a soldering iron. probably easier than sawing into plastic.

Isn't a p90 a little wider at its base than a single?Wouldn't you have to enlarge the body cavity a bit to make it fit?

A Dremel tool with the right cutting bit works great for cutting out bits of pickguard!
