shred audio sample

He is very fast but i dont really like any of his music. He always sounds like he is just playing up and down scales as fast as he can and sometimes taps notes on the high E.
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

I`m not familiar with his music at all. I just found that sample and thought it was mighty fast.
Maybe he does play up and down scales. I don`t know.
What is so wrong about tapping on the high "E". Or am I missing something?

Isn't that the sound you get when one of your PacMan guys gets eaten?

thanks Schmange - I was trying to think where I heard that before! ;)
I've just listened to a couple of his others examples...he's mighty fast, but he's got some sort of effect that's producing that DOS 8080-internal-speaker sound...
That tone should be reserved for Space Invader's and Lesuire Suit Larry if you ask me...
Don't worry too much about me, ignore me long enough and I'll go away.
