to date the best sound I have ever gotten was from a TSL100 half stack... and I was using a cheap esp lp-copy guitar to do it... (I was at a shop, and I asked to tryout the guitar, so of course the guy who worked there put me through the best amp in the shop! later I of course took the guitar to an amp identical to mine afterwards only to find it to be pretty bad sounding... but the marshall was sweet!)
